On the younger console, the project launches at 30 fps in quality mode, and in performance priority, the goal is 60 frames. Interestingly, due to the significantly reduced resolution (down to approximately 635p), the Series S delivers a more stable frame rate than the older model. According to tests, this version holds 60 fps without any problems, while the Series X sometimes loses individual frames.
The situation is not unique. It is not the first time that a more productive platform has faced difficulties in the stable operation of the game. A similar case with MGS Delta was recently discussed: on PS5 Pro, performance was often worse than on the standard PS5.
