Lost Soul Aside is now available on PS5 and PC. Full reviews from editorial offices are not yet available: review codes only appeared towards the end of the week, so we will have to wait a few days for the first media assessments.
But players can already try out the project for themselves: the developers have released a free demo on PS5 and PC, allowing everyone to assess whether the game suits them.
On Steam, the first user reviews are not encouraging: Lost Soul Aside has only 53% positive reviews after 200+ opinions. Players complain about frame drops, invisible walls, long shader loading times, and a camera that is too close, which, combined with dynamic gameplay, causes discomfort and even nausea. The main complaint is poor optimization, which seriously spoils the gaming experience.
The game also demonstrates modest performance on Steam: at the peak of the premiere, 3070 people were playing simultaneously.
