Some of the new features in ETS 2 can be evaluated before release.
The creators of the long-haul truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 have announced the start of beta testing.
In addition to the tuning expansion, which was previously discussed, SCS Software will offer players other gameplay innovations and graphics improvements.
They are using "Height Blend" — this is a method for creating "more realistic and visually appealing transitions between different types of landscapes or surfaces, such as grass, soil, or stone."
The Special Transport add-on has been updated — you will have to transport a heavy locomotive:
"EffiShunter 1000, a huge locomotive built by CZ LOKO. Truckers will transport this monster on a low-loader semi-trailer. Just how big is it? The overall height (including the trailer) reaches an impressive 5.3 meters, the length is 16 meters, and the width is 3.1 meters. Navigating turns with the EffiShunter 1000 in tow will require precision and nerves of steel."
