Euro Truck Simulator 2 improved graphics, tuning, and added the ability to transport multi-ton locomotives - beta of update 1.56 has started
Some of the new features of ETS 2 can be evaluated before release.
The creators of the long-haul driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 have announced the start of beta testing.
In addition to the tuning expansion, which was previously reported, SCS Software will offer players other gameplay innovations and graphics improvements.
They use "Height Blend" - this is a method for creating "more realistic and visually appealing transitions between different types of landscapes or surfaces, such as grass, soil or stone."
The Special Transport add-on has been updated - you will have to transport a heavy locomotive:
"EffiShunter 1000, a huge locomotive built by CZ LOKO. Truckers will transport this monster on a low-loader semi-trailer. How big is it? The total height (including the trailer) reaches an impressive 5.3 meters, the length is 16 meters, and the width is 3.1 meters. Passing turns with the EffiShunter 1000 in tow will require precision and nerves of steel."
You can access beta 1.56 through the Euro Truck Simulator 2 properties in Steam.
