The last few weeks in the industry have been marked by delays. Studios are trying not to release their projects near high-profile releases. Now, another game has been added to the list — Code Violet.
Previously, it was thought that only Hollow Knight: Silksong would be avoided, but now it has become clear that November has also become risky. Teamkill Media announced the postponement of their new game from November 14 to December 12. The reason is simple — Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is released on the same day.
The situation is noteworthy, because Code Violet is not a shooter, but a third-person horror game with elements of action. The events unfold in a post-apocalyptic world, where the main threat is dinosaurs. But even such a distinctive concept did not convince the developers to release the project head-to-head with the Call of Duty series. In their opinion, players will still choose the new installment from Treyarch.
