The actor, who is currently promoting the premiere of the film The Toxic Avenger, admitted that he has been a fan of classic LucasArts quests from the 90s for many years. Among them are The Secret of Monkey Island, Full Throttle, and Sam & Max Hit the Road.
"I like the adventure game format and the emphasis on excellent, often comedic storytelling," Wood noted.
He also recalled working on Broken Age with Tim Schafer, a key figure of that era. "It was a real honor to be a part of the project," the actor added.
Wood emphasized that his interests are not limited to nostalgia. Among the recent projects, he highlighted Blue Prince, calling it a "modern masterpiece of logic games." He also said that he has been playing Wheel World on Steam Deck a lot lately.
This is not the first time the actor has spoken about his passion for games. Back in 2021, he admitted that he would like to participate in the экранизации of the Grand Theft Auto series. At the time, he noted that "Vice City would look amazing, although it itself refers to Miami Vice. But GTA V with its characters would be ideal for a series or film."
