Path of Exile 2 recently received a major update called "The Third Edict." The game features new content, including the fourth act, as well as new features such as asynchronous trading.
Against this backdrop, Path of Exile 2's online player count has grown to 337,000 users, up from a recent level of 12-16,000. A "free weekend" promotion is underway, so players don't need to purchase one of the premium editions to check out the new features.
