Creators of the "Korea. IL-2" flight simulator showed how the planes will break
In "Korea. IL-2 Series" the damage system will reach a new level.
The developers of "Korea. IL-2 Series" recently presented a new teaser. 1C Game Studios decided to demonstrate the damage system in the flight simulator.
The developers talked about special "objects" that can be separated from aircraft when damaged.
Previously, the aircraft broke into physical parts, for example, when a wing or landing gear strut was shot off (i.e., a "physical part" of the aircraft broke off), it was difficult to calculate.
Now, when a plane is hit, "objects" can fall off it, such as hoods and flaps. They behave "physically", but at the same time do not load the physics so much, and there will be many such objects - the visual of the damage will become better.
