Support for the game continues for many years.
It was assumed that ConcernedApe would now focus on working on a new game, but plans have changed. The developer has confirmed that Stardew Valley will receive another patch:
«Okay, I mentioned it at the concert yesterday, and the information spread, so I'm confirming for everyone: there will be a Stardew Valley 1.7 update. No release date yet. But it will be released».
ConcernedApe then clarified: «My plan is that this [update] will not hinder the development of Haunted Chocolatier».
