A trial demonstration of the Z-A Battle Club mode took place at the Pokémon World Championships. This is a cooperative mode for four players, where teams fight against giant Mega-Pokémon in a new format. For owners of the version on the old Switch, a paid upgrade option to the Switch 2 version with improved graphics, animation, and a higher frame rate will be available.
