Before the sensational shooter, the studio had another project.
Arrowhead Game Studios didn't just make Helldivers. Previously, they created Magicka — a satirical adventure in a fantasy world about mages.
The franchise has fans, and some would like to see a new game. Recently, a member of the Helldivers 2 community asked if the studio's next game would be "Magicka 3D."
Developer Johan Pilestedt replied that he would like to make a new installment, but he has concerns about returning to this franchise:
"I would like to make it someday... but Magicka scares me... it was created by a group of founders [of the studio] at a time when we were essentially living together... and all the jokes come from there.
However, I would still like to do it someday."
