Those who postponed getting acquainted with Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster are now taking a closer look at the game.

Last year saw the release of an updated version of the zombie action game Dead Rising. However, Capcom used the infamous Denuvo DRM protection on the PC, which may have deterred some players.

In September 2025, gamers noticed that hackers had cracked Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. It turned out that Capcom's decision helped them - it removed Denuvo from the game and did not add an alternative advanced DRM solution.
