Cyberpunk 2077 fans discovered an encrypted message in the code of an image from CD Projekt RED
Enthusiastic gamers began researching the teaser and the first results appeared.
In early September, the authors of Cyberpunk 2077published a strange teaser. CD Projekt RED presented an address by the president to the citizens of the New United States of America.
Some community members decided to take a closer look and found that a message was hidden in the picture. With the help of a hexadecimal editor, the following phrase was found in the image code:
"Check the recruitment link on September 4th at 16:00 Central European Summer Time".
The link was written in the format "http://cp2077.ly/wigvixQWK". Community members solved the Caesar cipher - after shifting the letters, it turned out to be "secretMSG".
Thelink now available leads to an image of a coin with Caesar.
There is an assumption that CDPR decided to arrange ARG activity (to conduct a game using the real world as a platform).
