The game was released on PC in September 2024, and the console version launched on June 25, 2025. Several months later, it has already appeared on Game Pass.
I Am Your Beast received 80/100 on OpenCritic and 79/100 on Metacritic. Critics noted the fast-paced, adrenaline-fueled combat, combo attacks, and minimalist comic book style. The main drawbacks are the repetitiveness of the campaign and the short duration.
