The vampire RPG has had a difficult development history, but it is gradually moving towards release.
Recently, the developer of Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 spoke about the playthrough time for different playstyles.
Design Director Jay Hicks cannot give exact figures, but there is an approximate estimate:
"...at the moment, our estimate [of playthrough time] for those who play quickly and do not explore additional content is, perhaps, 20–25 hours, and for those who prefer to complete the game fully — about 40 hours."
For comparison, according to HowLongToBeat, players spent from 23 hours (main story) to 39 hours ("full" playthrough) to complete the first Bloodlines.
Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is expected to be released on October 21, 2025.
