Some players don't like the official versions of World of Warcraft and choose third-party projects.
Recently, Blizzard Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Turtle WoW. These are the developers of fan servers who are also creating a version of the MMORPG on Unreal Engine 5.
Lawyers believe that the authors of the "pirate servers" Turtle WoW illegally use Blizzard's intellectual property, game assets and code.
The modders published a statement — they do not plan to close the project:
"Turtle WoW is not going anywhere. We often face difficulties, and each time we are ready to solve them. We are still committed to providing the Turtle WoW gaming experience that you have come to love over the years."
