Tekken 8 Fixed Girls' Chests and Shoulders - Katsuhiro Harada Talks About Popular Changes
Players' opinions on female models were taken into account and some adjustments were made.
Recently, Tekken 8 fans started rioting because of the line of summer cosmetic items. They conducted acomparison of regular female models with their swimsuit versions - the breasts looked smaller, and the shoulders looked "wide."
Community feedback was heard and the authors of Tekken 8 prepared fixes. Game director and producer of the franchise Katsuhiro Harada talked aboutupdate 2.05:
"Changes have been made to correct the issue where the same breast parameters were applied to some characters, and the changes now reflect the individual proportions of each character. Although the difference may seem insignificant in comparativeimages due to the fixed viewing angles, in the real 3D environment of the game it is much more noticeable compared to the previous version.
In addition, only the neckline has been refined at this stage. Applying major fixes immediately would lead to significant model instability for Asuka, especially given the customization options, so adjustments were limited to gradual refinements to the shoulders, forearms, and neck.
