Director Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida announced that the team plans to update the content. In an interview, he stated that jobs may receive a major update in the future.
This is long-awaited news for players after the ambiguous start of Dawntrail, with difficulty issues and a lack of interesting content:
"We have a fairly large plan for jobs in the future. But it's quite difficult to explain the nuances right now. We don't want to destroy the current experience that exists in battles and design."
But changes are in the works:
"We won't be making major changes to existing content, but we want to make jobs more interesting for players to use."
What exactly Square Enix is preparing for jobs is still unknown. A year ago, Yoshi-P already promised to return "more individuality" to jobs in Dawntrail, but the expansion failed to convince most players: reviews on Steam remain "Mostly Negative."
Fans hope that the new changes will meet expectations, especially for healer players.
