The full release of Cronos The New Dawn is expected on September 5, and early access is now open to owners of premium editions.
Reviews for Cronos The New Dawn have begun to appear online — journalists were not impressed with the local combat system. For example, the author of IGN says about the game:
«The events of this survival horror shooter unfold against the backdrop of a destroyed, futuristic hell; a Polish city engulfed in infection is a fascinating and sinister setting for a bloody massacre, but the rather boring combat system does not allow the game to stand out from the series about dismembering necromorphs [Dead Space], from which it clearly draws so much inspiration. Cronos still manages to provide a solid portion of creepy mutant-killing action, but it's certainly not a new dawn for the survival horror genre.»
Cronos The New Dawn received 78 out of 100 points on Metacritic , 80 on OpenCritic , with 86% of authors recommending the game.
