It seems that Sony PlayStation has decided to "return to its roots."
Recently, well-known insider billbil-kun, who has repeatedly shared confirmed information, spoke about Sony's plans to release a new revision of the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (console without a disc drive).
According to his data, this revision of the PS5 "CFI-2116" will receive an 825 GB SSD instead of the current 1 TB, but Sony will not change the price — as before, the console will be sold for 499 euros.
The insider noted that the packaging of the new revision of the console will indicate "825 GB."
It is assumed that this decision by Sony is due to a desire to avoid another round of price increases.
