Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 has become a big hit and, for some players, an entry point into the franchise.
Recently, Saber Interactive boss Tim Willits spoke with IGN and shared that some people have formed misconceptions about Warhammer 40,000:
"People have misconceptions about the Warhammer 40,000 universe. For example, that the Thousand Sons are the only Chaos faction [because they are the only ones featured in the game]. It's quite funny. And, for example, \"Space Marines only come in blue!\" Honestly, it was pretty funny, but it only benefits us."
Franchise owner Games Workshop felt the success of the project: store employees began to meet newcomers who became acquainted with Warhammer 40,000 thanks to Space Marine 2.
Work on the franchise will continue: Saber will support the current second part, and also develop Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 3.
