Some Rayman fans are working on updating older installments.
While Ubisoft is preparing a new installment in the Rayman franchise, fans are making their own remakes. Recently, Rayman 3 Havoc Reignited was released, and now work on another project has been published online.
New Dawn Games has presented a demo version of Rayman 2 Redreamed:
«After years of hard work, we are pleased to present to you the first part of our fan remake of the beloved 3D platformer Rayman 2: The Great Escape. The demo is a vertical slice and includes the entire The Fairy Glade level, as well as a small obstacle course that we used to demonstrate some of Rayman's tricks».
