Microsoft has unveiled a new series of Xbox Breaker Special Edition wireless controllers, confirming recent leaks. For the first time, three models are launching simultaneously, each with a unique style designed to appeal to different player tastes and personalities.
The names — Ice Breaker, Storm Breaker, and Heart Breaker — reflect the visual and conceptual identity of the devices, turning an ordinary controller into an element of design and collection.
Ice Breaker stands out with its icy appearance: a translucent blue body with a matte texture reminiscent of crystal shards. Different shades of blue complement the joysticks, ABXY buttons, and textured grips, creating an elegant, fresh effect. Storm Breaker is designed in a more restrained style: black, gray, white, and silver with a matte finish, a metallic D-pad, and silver reflections in the light. Heart Breaker is the brightest: a mix of pink, purple, and blue on a translucent body for those who want their controller to stand out.
Technically, all three models retain the features of the Xbox Wireless Controller series: compatibility with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PCs, Android and iOS devices; stable connection via wireless network or Bluetooth; 3.5 mm audio jack for compatible headphones. The Xbox Accessories app is also supported, allowing you to remap buttons, customize sticks and triggers, and adjust vibration.
The Breaker controllers will go on sale on September 9, 2025, at a suggested retail price of $79.99.
