Cosplayers Gaiar and Many-Faced Demon are fans of teen slashers and certainly love classic horror films such as "Friday the 13th," "Halloween," and "A Nightmare on Elm Street."
After streaming the horror game The Quarry from the creators of Man of Medan, Little Hope, and The Casting of Frank Stone, they decided to embody the images of two characters from this game.
During the photoshoot, which was conducted by photographer Liza "Shinori" Egorova, the cosplayers transformed into two playable heroes – Jacob Custos and Emma Mountebank, dressed in 80s-style outfits.
Jacob is sociable, energetic, and loves to joke around, but his bravado hides vulnerability. He sincerely cares about his friends, especially his romantic interest, Emma.
This character is dressed in black shorts and large sneakers, a cap, a T-shirt with red sleeves and the white number 13. The bottom of the T-shirt is cut, exposing half of the abdomen.
Emma is smart, resourceful, and knows how to manipulate situations to her advantage, but her self-confidence sometimes leads to conflicts or dangerous decisions. She is an "influencer" and a "social media star" who loves to shoot videos and share her life.
This girl wears a cropped olive-colored top, further exposing her abdomen and left shoulder. It has slightly rolled-up sleeves and a black letter "E" on the left side. A small mesh tank top can be seen under the top. Plus, Emma is wearing faded jeans with a twice-tied mustard-colored leather belt with rivets.
