Gamers got a closer look at the screen of the portable and budget-friendly Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini console. It also became known which systems will run on the device without black bars around the edges of the display, and which ones in "pixel-perfect" format.
Ayaneo CEO Arthur Zhang continues to share details about the Pocket Air Mini portable console from the budget series codenamed CODE R with people.
It became known that this device will receive a screen with a diagonal of 4.2 inches, a resolution of 1280x960 pixels and an aspect ratio of 4:3.
According to Arthur, the FC (Nintendo Entertainment System or NES), MD (Sega Mega Drive), SFC (Super Nintendo Entertainment System or SNES), SS (Sega Saturn), Wii, PlayStation 2, NeoGeo, Atari, PCE and Nintendo DS systems run on Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini without black bars around the edges of the screen.
In addition, the following systems will work in "pixel-perfect" format: Nintendo 64, PlayStation – x4, Sega Dreamcast – x2. The "pixel-perfect" format means that the game is displayed as accurately as possible in accordance with the original design, without blurring, distortion or other shortcomings, maintaining the perfect clarity and correct placement of each pixel, as conceived by the developer.
