Art Director Rasmus Paulsen in an interview spoke about the large locations that players will have to explore. The game introduces the world of Bond, allowing you to decide for yourself how to complete missions.
"Immersion... We want to give a calm, story-driven introduction to the world where the player can take on the role of James Bond, explore the environment and form their own understanding of the mission".
Discussing the mission shown at Gamescom, Paulsen noted that the map is large enough for players to find solutions on their own, using all available mechanics.
"When you come in, a territory familiar from IO's point of view opens up before you - a chateau that has everything: from a social game to vast areas where you can freely move and use the full potential of the gameplay".
