The inconsistency of the game's developers, in the vein of Dino Crisis, has angered some gamers.

Recently, some gamers noticed a Code Violet promo that was published back in the summer. At that time, the authors presented a premium edition, which would include additional skins for the heroine — questions arose about their design.

Developers from TeamKill Media presented very revealing outfits (one of them strongly resembles the image of Elexis Sinclaire from SiN). At the same time, they had previously refused to release a PC version of Code Violet under the pretext that PC gamers create "vulgar mods."

Users did not appreciate such hypocrisy. khizar4 suggested why the authors had previously made such a statement about vulgar mods:

"They probably weren't going to do a PC port anyway, but instead of just saying that, they thought, \"Let's make this announcement in a way that game journalists will be happy with,\" and get positive media coverage."

Dayreach believes they were simply misunderstood: "They meant the fear that the character would be sexualized, and they wouldn't be able to monetize it."

jeffwingersballs: "TeamKill Media: You can objectify women, but it's a privilege you have to pay for."

Differentnameo: "Because YOU, the unacceptable person, are forbidden from sexualizing characters. THEY can, because they are acceptable. They can do the same thing they said you can't, and it's perfectly fine. Because that's how morality works!"
