GTA 6 is a "AAAAA" game - a vision of an industry veteran
Players and industry representatives expect a lot from the new part of the famous franchise.
Recently, industry veterans spoke with IGN. In the process of discussing Silksong, they touched upon another influential game from Rockstar Games, which is preparing for release.
Nigel Lowrie, co-founder of Devolver Digital, expressed his opinion:
«....there are AAA games, and there are AAAA level games, and I would say that Grand Theft Auto 6 is potentially an \"AAAAA\" game. It simply surpasses everything else in terms of scale, cultural impact, and the attention it attracts».
Adam Lieb, CEO of the Gamesight marketing platform, added:
«I would say that GTA has been the topic of almost every conversation about release dates that I've heard for the past year and a half».
He compares the Rockstar game to a "black cloud hanging over everything" - various RP servers, etc. are available for it, "the scale of this game is so large that it ultimately competes with things it otherwise wouldn't compete with".
