Recently, the studio of the author of Danganronpa presented a new game, Shuten Order. The new product from Too Kyo Games launched on Steam with mixed reviews, with a significant portion of the negativity coming from players in China.
The reason for the outrage was not the game itself, but the pricing policy: initially, Shuten Order cost 200 yuan (2,200 rubles), but soon the price increased to 320 yuan (3,600 rubles).
The publisher has already apologized: "Due to our negligence, there was a problem with the price of this game after its release on the platform. Although this issue has since been resolved, the price adjustment still caused confusion and inconvenience, for which we offer our deepest apologies."
The plot of Shuten Order involves the approaching "end of humanity" and the formation of a religious organization called the "Shuten Order," which forms a small state of Shuten. The protagonist, the head of the order, is killed, but soon the character regains consciousness and learns that he has been resurrected by divine power: memories have disappeared, and now he has only four days to find and deal with those involved in his murder.
