The creators of the long-haul truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 recently released a diary dedicated to the development of the Coaches add-on. It will add new gameplay — the ability to drive buses and travel around Europe.
SCS Software presented a set of screenshots: another opportunity appeared to take a look at the view from the bus cabin, as well as evaluate the stops.
The developers said that when work began on Coaches, the game already had seven models of bus stations that were used in different locations on the map; to update them, they decided to rework and improve them:
«Some layouts will remain the same, while others will receive a completely new design based on real locations. Unlike the old prefabricated modules, which were surrounded by fences or walls, the new ones will allow us to remove them so that the stations can fit more naturally into the environment».
The authors of ETS 2 will also add many new stations throughout Europe: sometimes these are real objects, and sometimes improvisations by developers.
You can add the Coaches add-on for Euro Truck Simulator 2 to your Steam wishlist via the following link. The release date is still unknown. The developers clarified that the map update will be available to all players, not just DLC buyers.
