Warface returns to PC on Steam for Russia and the CIS countries — the shooter was temporarily available only through VK Play and Astrum Play
Soon you will be able to play Warface on PC not only in VK Play.
Several years ago, MY.GAMES left the Russian market, and all Russian assets were transferred to Astrum Entertainment. Then the shooter Warface became unavailable on Steam for Russia and the CIS countries — the project could be played via VK Play or Astrum Play.
In September 2025, the return of Warface to Steam was announced — the game will appear in the store for the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The developers warned that it would not be possible to transfer the current progress from VK Play to Steam, but the game will run on the same servers:
«All Warface players, regardless of whether they launch the game through Steam, the VK Play platform, or Astrum Play, will be on the same servers, which implies common matchmaking and battles».
