Cult of the Lamb Authors Aren't Going to Put Players in Debt — Woolhaven Expansion is Huge, But They Promise a Reasonable Price

Recently, the authors of the roguelike Cult of the Lamb talked about the Woolhaven expansion. According to them, it will be comparable in scale to the original game.
How did that happen? The creators explained that they "flew too close to the sun," and the developers always strive to "go all out, whether it's a wedding, a concert, or 3 large-scale free content updates." They also noted that the price of Woolhaven will be "reasonable."
The Woolhaven DLC page for Cult of the Lamb on Steam is already open, and the release is expected in early 2026:
