A week before release, Gearbox is helping fans plan their time with Borderlands 4.
The developers make no secret of the fact that they are looking forward to the moment when players become treasure hunters. In addition to the new trailer, the studio revealed the exact start time. It depends on the platform.
On PC, the game will be available on September 11 at 19:00 (Moscow time), while on consoles the start will take place only at midnight — six hours later. This difference is surprising, because during the pre-order stage, Gearbox hinted that everyone would start playing at the same time. This is important because of the presence of crossplay, which allows for joint games regardless of the platform.
A similar situation has already happened with Mafia: The Old Country, which was also released under the 2K Games label. PC players will have a slight time advantage, but crossplay will easily allow them to join forces with console friends.
