Sony launched the sale of accessories and a special version of the console dedicated to Ghost of Yotei. The interest was huge — fans were hoping for a chance to get unique elements.
The company introduced a limited series of panels for the PS5 Pro, but the plastic parts were sold only in select stores and in extremely small quantities, which instantly raised the hype.
Scalpers quickly took advantage of the situation, buying up all the panels "literally in a minute." As a result, most players had no chance of buying.
Limited edition PS5 Pro panels with the Ghost of Yotei motif almost immediately appeared on trading platforms at significantly inflated prices. Fans are outraged and note that Sony has once again failed to take past mistakes into account — a similar problem occurred at the launch of the PS5.
It is difficult to understand why Sony did not release more panels and organize a global sale, but in this generation the company has already made similar decisions, for example, limited DualSense controllers available only in the UK and the USA.
