The creator of the role-playing game "Yar" (formerly known as "Ancient Rus") recently presented a development diary and talked about expanding the map.
The game world will increase several times. In the image below, the new territories are marked in red, and what was available in early access is marked in blue:
«As you can see, the territory will be almost 3 times larger, not counting what was already there. But that's not all, as islands have been introduced, [the second screenshot shows] one of them.
For comparison, I circled a small island that roughly corresponds to the scale of the village of Torzhok, so that you can appreciate the scale of the new territory».
Below are shots of some places from the new territories, and the developer noted that this is only a small part - he does not want to spoil the content:
«Especially do not forget that the winter biome and other unshown places are also 90% ready (as is the entire plot), in fact the whole game is ready, and it is being polished, but I will release it in two parts, what will be included in the first half, I show in this news and also described in the previous ones».
