It is inspired by the cartoons of the 20s of the last century and uses the wave of interest in Mickey Mouse, who found himself in the public domain.
The author of the project, Simon Lukasik, who previously worked on Bulb Boy, took a risk by releasing the game next to the premieres of Silksong and Cronos, fighting for the attention of the horror audience. The decision turned out to be correct: the project interested players and in just 5 days returned all the costs of production and marketing.
Even the releases of Silksong and Cronos: The New Dawn did not become an obstacle. The budget of Bad Cheese has fully paid off, securing Feardemic's status as one of the most successful publishers of niche horrors.
