According to the developer, the success of Bulwark Evolution: Falconeer Chronicles was the impetus for the return. Work on the city-building project showed that it was worth returning to The Falconeer. Sala noted that the industry values new products, and re-releases rarely bring profit. But he decided to invest in updating the game.
The remaster will not be limited to technical improvements. The author is completely reworking the graphics, animation, and special effects. Detailed buildings from Bulwark will be added, and the collision system will be improved — Sala is confident that this radically changes the feel of the gameplay.
The main changes concern player complaints: bugs have been fixed, mission lengths have been adjusted, and aiming and fast-forwarding have been improved. The developer is working on the project almost single-handedly and is ready to respond to criticism.
