During the new photo shoot, she appeared as the Fire Keeper, who awaits the main character of the game in the Firelink Shrine.

The Fire Keeper is a non-player character who can increase the protagonist's characteristics and remove dark marks, as well as a symbolic element of the game world, representing hope, service, and the choice between light and darkness.

She constantly reminds the player of his goal - to unite the ashes of the Lords of Cinder and kindle the First Flame.

By the way, the Fire Keeper is blind, but in Dark Souls 3 it is possible to return her eyes to the girl so that she can see the true future of the world and lead to the "End of Fire" ending.
