The Claws of Awaji add-on for Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on September 16, 2025. Naoe and Yasuke will travel to the island of the same name, where they will face a new dangerous faction.
More than 10 hours of content are added: new armor sets and a new type of weapon — the combat staff bo with legendary variations. Awaji Island is full of dangers. New biomes open up outside the base game map: beaches in swamps, jungles where enemies can ambush at any moment.
According to Xbox Wire, opponents can disguise themselves as ordinary residents and attack when you least expect it, so you need to be especially careful.
The heroes will fight with a «powerful and formidable faction», which means that «new unique bosses» will also appear. The DLC continues the Shadows storyline, so it is recommended to complete the main campaign in order to immediately begin new missions.
