World of Warcraft private servers are in the crosshairs of lawyers.
Recently, Blizzard Entertainment's lawyers came to the creators of the WoW Turtle project with a demand to shut down the servers. The campaign to combat unofficial servers is gaining momentum.
While WoW Turtle is still holding on, some of their colleagues have already fallen. It became known about the shutdown of several World of Warcraft Classic servers: representatives of Everlook and Project Epoch said goodbye to fans.
Blizzard believes that such unofficial servers "infringe copyright".
Players speculate that "Project Epoch" will continue to exist in some form, but under different developers.
