PlayStation 5 has been on the market for a long time, and Sony has released two updated versions — the compact PS5 Slim and the more powerful PS5 Pro. One of the players decided to go further and created a portable PS5 that retains all the functions of the original, but is easy to carry.
Previously, attempts had been made to make the PS5 portable, but they were not as impressive as the project shown in the video. The author with the pseudonym TERA, who previously created various DIY models, showed the second attempt to transform the PS5 into a portable console.
The video demonstrates the entire process: disassembly and modifications to the cooling system, case and LCD panel, as well as assembly of all components.
The final result is impressive: the console runs quietly even during the game, its size is significantly reduced, and the weight is lighter than not only the previous DIY version, but also the standard PS5.
