Community dissatisfaction has influenced the monetization of Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2.
After the start of pre-orders for Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, players learned that a couple of clans had decided to distribute as paid DLC. This caused a wave of discontent.
The developers reacted and announced changes: now the Lasombra and Toreador clans will be included in the base version of Bloodlines 2.
Game producer Marco Behrmann thanked the community for the "frank feedback" about Bloodlines 2 and the Premium edition — thanks to them, "it became clear" that these clans should become part of the base version of the game.
The release of Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is expected on October 21.
