Recently, Fallout creator Tim Cain spoke with The Vile Eye and shared his memories. As it turned out, the creator had a period in his life when he was very deeply immersed in the video game industry and did not pay attention to what was happening outside of it.

This led to a funny incident:

«I had a ten-year period in my life when I did nothing but create video games. For most of the early 90s and 2000s, I went to work almost every day and was involved in development. On weekends, I could play games, and after that I would return to working on RPGs».

One day, the developer was asked his opinion about Britney Spears — he did not understand that it was about the singer:

«And I literally — no joke — turned around and asked: \"Is this a new weapon from our game?\". This was during the development of Arcanum, the guy's name was Jesse Reynolds. He just looked at me and said \"Dude, you need to be in the real world\"».

The surname Spears resembles the English word spear, and Britney is "something related to Britain".
