This is not just a "reset" of pumped skills, the points are completely deleted, as if they never existed.
TheRealSoyKRob shared a story:
"I was playing last night until level 10. I went in to play today and noticed that my active skill was gone, and I also saw that my character had no invested points, even though he was level 10, and I definitely invested points in the tree last night."
Community members have concluded that this bug is related to disconnecting from the server.
If skills are lost in a multiplayer session, you need to quickly exit via "ALT + F4", in which case there is a chance that the statistics will not be updated and the skills will remain the next time you load the game.
There is no fix for those already affected at the moment — those who have not yet managed to go far are simply creating new characters. Gearbox is aware of the problem and is "investigating".
