Sometimes users use extravagant methods to repair equipment.
Recently, a PlayStation 3 owner with the nickname seascouuut faced a big problem — he accidentally melted the console.
He received the "yellow light of death", did not want to perform the reballing procedure and used another method:
«decided I was too bored to reball it again, so I wrapped it in a towel and put a hair dryer to the rear vent (I saw it in videos, and when I came back ten minutes later, this was the result)».
Then he published an update — the PlayStation 3 did not "die" in the end, but successfully started working:
