The developers of PUBG Battlegrounds continue their campaign to combat cheaters. It is being conducted not only on PC, but also on consoles.
Recently, the authors of PUBG addressed the community and talked about the fight against those who use keyboards and mice on consoles - they admitted that previous anti-cheat solutions no longer met modern challenges, so they presented a new approach:
«We continue to take action against such behavior, but have found that detection bypass methods have become more sophisticated recently.
To address this issue, we have begun using keyboard and mouse usage pattern analysis for detection, which allows us to identify cheaters even when it previously seemed impossible. As a result, the number of cheaters detected and punished has increased approximately sixfold compared to the previous period».
