Recent controversies have not shaken the position of Ghost of Yotei. The game remains one of the biggest pre-order hits on PlayStation 5 in several countries.

A few days ago, an unpleasant situation arose involving the murder of an American political activist, which could have damaged the reputation of Sucker Punch Productions. The studio responded promptly, but it seemed that the incident could affect sales of Ghost of Yotei. This did not happen.

Two weeks before release, the PS5 exclusive is among the most sought-after projects in the Sony digital store. In the American PlayStation Store, the game occupies two positions in the top 5 pre-orders: the Digital Deluxe Edition rose to 2nd place, and the standard version secured 4th place.
