PlayStation is collaborating with Capcom again. Sony's Japanese branch will have the opportunity to present one of the most anticipated games of 2026, according to insider Rino.
Capcom has confirmed its participation in the Tokyo Game Show, but, to the surprise of many fans, Resident Evil Requiem will not be shown at the exhibition. This raised concerns about the future game, but it turned out that the presentation will take place in special conditions thanks to cooperation with PlayStation.
Resident Evil Requiem will be presented to Japan not by Capcom, but directly by PlayStation Japan. Sony will prepare a full-fledged showcase of one of the most anticipated games of 2026, demonstrating its participation in promoting the new installment in the series.
PlayStation has been supporting Capcom in marketing Resident Evil games for many years. On Sony consoles, players often tested demos and tried gameplay before anyone else, which strengthened the popularity of the series on PS4 and PS5.
