Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will soon be available on new platforms. The game will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S. Square Enix announced that the release will take place on January 22, 2026.
This means that more players will get to Midgar and learn or rediscover Cloud's story. The launch is part of a strategy in which the entire FF7 Remake trilogy should appear on multiple systems at once.
A trailer has been released simultaneously. It focuses not on the combat part or graphics, but on the world of the game. The video introduces the key groups operating in Midgar: from the Shinra Electric Power Company to the Avalancha organization, which Cloud joined. The video also shows the relationship between the characters and outlines the plot conflicts underlying the events of the remake.
Square Enix has confirmed another important detail: subsequent parts of the series — FF7 Rebirth and the finale of the trilogy — will also be released immediately on different platforms, and not exclusively for PlayStation. At the same time, the version for Switch 2 will take about 90 GB of free space. Even the boxed copy will be delivered on a Game-Key Card, which will still require downloading data.
