Recently, FromSoftware released the Deep of Night add-on for Elden Ring Nightreign, and its difficulty poses a serious challenge to players.
For those who have already completed Everdark Sovereigns, this is good news, but what about players struggling in the lower Depths and looking for relief?
A patch will be released soon that will allow you to increase the Depth level by one. Protection against rank degradation is also being introduced: if you lose in Depths 3, 4, or 5, you will not lose a level. In Depth 3, the protection is valid for one loss, and in Depths 4 and 5, it is valid for two. And this is not a one-time function: when access is restored, the protection is activated again.
Also, players in Depth 1, when facing participants in Depth 2 and above, will no longer lose points. FromSoftware has fixed a bug that caused the rating to remain the same after a victory.
