After the difficult release of Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, other developers of 4X strategies have a chance to challenge the genre's long-standing leader. Amplitude Studios has already confronted the competitor, including through the game Humankind. Now, having freed itself from Sega, the studio is completing work on Endless Legend II, which is scheduled for release on September 22, 2025.
The new global strategy will be released in early access format. Ahead of the launch, the team presented a special video where the game director of the project demonstrates gameplay for almost 25 minutes and talks about his vision.
